Builders Care Tallahassee

Builders Care partnered with Ability 1st and Killearn United Methodist Church to build a wheelchair ramp for Mrs. Wilson. As a consequence of her diabetes she had to have her foot amputated. While in rehab, her team of doctors determined that before Mrs. Wilson could safely return to her home, she was required to have a wheelchair ramp installed. A team of faithful BCT supporters rallied together, built a ramp and she was was to return home.

Builders Care Tallahassee is a local, faith-based non-profit organization with a heart to revitalize Tallahassee’s inner city. Developing partnerships with volunteers throughout the city, Builders Care rehabilitates both the homes and community facilities of our low-income, elderly and disabled neighbors. It is the hope of Builders Care and its sponsors that these same neighbors can live in warmth, safety and independence as a result of our involvement.
